Spring is finally peeking through the thick winter haze. In north China, temperatures are still low, but during the day, the air is definitely warmer. In the south, people are beginning to replace down jackets with lighter spring coats.
If you are travelling in central and south China, temperatures are usually quite pleasant making sight-seeing more enjoyable. And a bonus is that the peak season for China travel does not begin until later so bargains and good deals can usually be found.
Top March China destinations not to be missed are the flower provinces of Jiangxi and Yunnan. Whole fields of rapeseed flowers blanket the countryside. It’s every nature photographer’s dream destination.
