I came to China in 2003 on a university exchange programme to study Chinese. Since 2004, I have travelled around all of China and most of Asia as a tour leader for Albatros Travel. China has given me opportunities and lessons for life. China is too many different and exciting things to describe in text, so I hope you will give me the chance to show you the country I fell in love with. I promise it will be an experience for life.
To eat noodles on the side of the street in the western part of Xian. To haggle for a better price in the bazars of Kashgar. To get lost in the Forbidden City or play cards with retirees in the eastern part of the Temple of Heaven. Most of all I recommend you to drive from the Everest base camp to Zhangmu and experience a 2km descent from an arid vast mountain area into a sub-tropical climate.
